It's been a while

It has been such a long time since i posted last. This is because I was away from the internet all summer long. I worked at scout camp which maybe i will post more about later. i would really love to post some pictures of this summer but my camera broke and my computer broke. so maybe someday i will be able to. but for now i will just tell you about the hike that Rory and i went on yesterday. We drove up Cedar canyon to the SUU cabin and started hiking up behind it. Neither of us knew where we were going so we decided to just explore. we ended up doing some off trail stuff until we came across a trail, then we found the river and followed that for a long time. Rory could see a trail up on top of the mountain and decided that we needed to get to that trail. So back off the trail we went till we found the trail. The trial ended for a little ways and while we were trying to cross this section of mountain that was just dirt i lost my footing and started sliding down the side of the mountain. I was able to grab a tree branch and then Rory was able to pull me to safety using Ropes. we made it back the the truck before the sun set with only a few minor scrapes. It was definitely a fun adventure :) It was a very beautiful place and i would love to go back and hike there again. I will see if i can get pictures added sometime soon.
