Day 26 a photo of somewhere you've been too
This is Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, Germany. I went there in 2004 with the Utah Valley Youth Symphony. It is such a beautiful place!
Day 25 what's in your purse?
Well, I don't normally carry a purse, but I do take one to work. Right now it has my wallet (which has TONS of stuff in it) my car and house keys, my work keys, cough drops, aleve, and peppermint oil. Kinda random. Usually I just carry my wallet and my keys though. I hate purses.

Day 23: 15 facts about yourself
1. I prefer sleeping in a tent than in a building.
2. I have a nephew who is 5 years younger than me.
3. Both my high school and my university, have awesome unofficial school songs, "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor and "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC
4. I played softball for 5 summers when I was young.
5. One of my favorite things to do in the Summer is go to the zoo, even though I am an adult now.
6. The only memory my friends have of playing at my house is playing with the dress ups in my basement. (I think it is because my family has the coolest dress ups ever!)
7. I have played the violin since I was 5 years old.
8. I love rappelling but hate rock climbing.
9. Most of the time I would rather hang out with my family than my friends.
10. My biggest fear is being attacked by an animal at night in the woods.
11. There are a lot of places I want to go visit in the world, but I probably never will because I HATE flying. It makes me sick.
12. I don't like amusement park rides. They also make me sick.
13. One of my favorite foods is toast.
14. I became accident prone once I went to College. In college I got stitches, broke a bone, sprained my wrist and my shoulder, and slid off the side of a mountain while hiking.
15. And the most common thing about me that everyone knows is , I am the youngest of 10 kids. I love my big family!

Day 22 A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
Ok I am back at it. I don't know that anyone has hurt me recently but there is someone who has really frustrated me so I will do that instead.
Dear X,
First of all I really hope you know how much I appreciate everything you do to help me. I know I still have a lot of questions and my constant questions probably get annoying at times. I appreciate everything you take care of so I don't have to. I just wish I could help you more. You always seemed to be stressed to the point that you can't deal with anything that pops up out of the blue. I try hard to be a good example by treating the people who create these distractions with kindness and compassion. I just wish you could remember that these people are not having the best of days themselves and they are probably very frustrated. I wish you would show a little compassion on them.
I don't really understand why you think everyone is out to take your responsibilities. No one wants to do that. We just want to make your life easier. There is no need to be secretive in your responsibilities.
I hope that someday you will be able to take a step back and realize that if you show people a little more compassion and friendliness they will be nicer to you. I don't think you realize that there are times when I avoid having to talk to you because I am afraid of having you snap at me. I hope that we can learn to work next to each other and become a great team.
Sincerely, Janet

Day 21: A photo of something that makes you happy
Do I really have to only chose one? I have a whole facebook photo album called random stuff i find that makes me happy. it is full of old memories, great roommates and friends and great pranks my friends and I pulled on each other. I guess you could go look at it there if you are my friend on facebook. Here is a preview though.
The top picture is my friend Sandy's dog Tanner. He was at the rifle range at camp so we put eye and ear protection on him :) the next is when i caution taped my friend Jake's car. too bad he never saw it... and the last is a giant flag at an SUU football game.

Day 20: The meaning behind your blog name
Well it is pretty self explanatory. It is my blog, so I labeled it so. :) I now think I should have been more creative in naming my blog. hmmm maybe i will try and change that someday.... if it is even possible to do that.
Day 19: another picture of yourself
This picture was taken by my wonderful college roommate Katie Wimer. This was back in the day when I was in ROTC. Oh the fun times :)
Day 17: a picture of you and your family
I wanted to get an updated one of these this Christmas while we were all in Utah, but I forgot. This picture is from 2009. Yeah my family is getting so big it is hard to fit us all into the picture.
Gotta love ALL of them :) There are a 2 nieces and a nephew missing from this picture.

Day 16: your celebrity crush
I honestly don't have one. Yeah there are good looking celebrities but there isn't a single one I would say that i have a crush on. Now if Lyil's band makes it big then I will have a celebrity crush. The guitar player of Ember Ridge :)
Day 15: Something you don't leave the house without
I know everyone probably is doing the cell phone. That is true of me too, but the other thing I will never leave the house without is chapstick. Lyil says I am addicted. It is true. I am ok with this. I have to have chapstick multiple times a day. If I do ever forget it, I go crazy until I can get home to get it or get to a store to buy more.
Day 14: A TV show you are currently addicted to
I can't say that I am addicted to any TV show right now. But the last one I was addicted to, which I still love and will watch sometimes, is The Big Bang Theory. It is SO FUNNY!!!
Day 13: Your favorite musician and why
I would have to say Garth Brooks. I love country and there aren't many of his songs that I don't like. I have heard many other musicians do covers on his music. He is a respected artist and has great music!
Day 11: What's in your make up bag
Good question. My make up bag is packed up in some box somewhere. It has been for a year or so now. The make up I wear daily is laying on my vanity right now. Black eye liner and black mascara. That's it. I have no need for lots of make up and I get lots of comments about how pretty my eyes are so I must be doing something right. :)
Day 10: A photo of your favorite place to eat
hmmm This is always a hard choice because it all depends on my mood. I really love Sushi Ya though. Their Crystal Shrimp roll is awesome!
Day 8: a song to match your mood
I'm not really sure what my mood is right now, but since I just did the post about weddings, I will share Love Like Crazy by Lee Brice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0f5g18EbG4
I love the lyrics of this song. Listen closely and you will hear the best advice to make you stay in love forever. I hope you all like it.

Day 7: Your perfect Wedding
Ok, I am back at it. My Dream wedding will be here:
The Mt. Timpanogos Temple. I hope to get married in the spring or summer so it is warm. I plan on wearing this dress:
I would love to have my colors be Green and Brown. I want the green to be a bright spring green like the color of leaves. If I could have my reception outside or in a garden or greenhouse it would be awesome! I want lots of plants and fresh flowers. I love this cake:
Mostly I just hope it is a really happy day with the man I love and our families. I am excited to get married someday. :)

Day 5: A photo of yourself two years ago
My hair was about 6 inches longer. I still have this shirt and I wear it all the time. I don't have glasses anymore. That was a very smart move on my part. This picture was taking right before I went and chopped 14 inches off.
Day 4: Your favorite photograph of your best friend.
Like everyone else in the world, I am sure, I have multiple best friends. So I will show you them all :)
First LYIL:
Next: MELISSA:
Next: DANA:
In reality though I have lots of really good friends.

Day 3: your idea of the perfect first date
An ideal first date for me would be in the spring, summer or fall, so that it was warm enough to do something outside. I would want to go hiking with a picnic. It wouldn't be a really hard hike so that we could talk and laugh and have fun together. First dates should be all about finding out about who the other person is and what kinds of things they like to do. I must say, my first date with Lyil was pretty great. We went to Bridal Veil and played around up there and then we went back to his place and watched a movie and just relaxed. It was great!
Day 1: A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.
This picture was from a recent sledding trip. It was epic. As for my day... It was a good day. I slept in, and then when I came upstairs my brother Keith and my nephews Preston and Austin were here. I played with them till it was time to go to work. Then I worked from noon to 5 which felt more like a full 8 hour day. Then I drove home in rush hour traffic. I came home to find that my mom had made my favorite dinner. Spaghetti. Now I am just relaxing while I wait for Lyil's band practice to be done.
I'll give this a try.
Ok so I have seen friends doing this on their blogs and on facebook. So I think I will try it. BUT I might not do just one a day. I don't blog every day as we all know, and sometimes (like tonight) I have more of a desire to blog than other times. so we'll see how it goes. Just don't hate me if it never gets finished. Here are the guidelines:
Day 1 a photo of yourself and a description of how your day was
Day 2 a photo of something you ate today
Day 3 your idea of the perfect first date
Day 4 your favorite photograph of your best friend
Day 5 a photo of yourself two years ago

I got a job!!!
I have been searching for a job for over a month now since school got out. I was starting to think I would never get a job, when an old friend from High School sent me a message on facebook telling me about a job where she works. They wanted to interview me immediately. It is at the Advanced Hearing Center in Salt Lake near Sugar House. It is a part time receptionist job. It will be a long commute every day but I think it will be worth it just to have a job again. I am just glad I won't be bored anymore. I have a lot to learn since I have never been a receptionist before, but I am excited and this should be fun. Wish me luck!

Not having a camera is lame!
Since I have the worst luck in the world with cameras, and my camera broke AGAIN back in September, I haven't had much motivation to blog. I think blogs with pictures are a lot more entertaining to read so it make me sad to know that my blog is becoming boring. (Not that it was really all that exciting to begin with since I never write) Oh well.
I have been having fun since I last posted. I finished my semester with good grades, I spent a lot of time with my friends before I moved away from Cedar City forever. There are some really good friends down there, that I hope I never lose contact with. I also moved back to Orem.
I love being done with school. I love living in Orem. It means I get to see Lyil every day instead of once every few weeks. Lyil and I have had a lot of fun.
Christmas this year was lots of fun! All of my siblings were in Utah and we had a big party two days after Christmas for my parents anniversary. It was a little nuts having 40 people in the house but it was so nice to have everyone there. I got to spend most of Christmas Day with Lyil and his family in Nephi. His Grandma makes the best turkey ever and his uncle makes the BEST cherry pie I have ever had.
The only thing that could make this whole being done with school thing better, is if I could get a job. Lyil and I are both unemployed and are having a hard time finding jobs. Hopefully something comes soon though. Hopefully I will get a job soon so I can blog about that.
