sneak peak to my next post

I got asked to the ROTC Military Banquet. It is tomorrow evening so maybe Friday I will post some pictures and tell you all about it. I'm pretty excited. It should be fun.

Ecology Conservation Director

Yep! I am going to be the Eco/Con Director this year at Maple Dell. I am so excited and at the same time so scared. I will have a lot of responsibility, lots of paperwork, and lots of merit badges to teach. But I am going to have a ton of fun this summer! I couldn't ask for a better summer job! (it would help if they payed a little more, but i don't do this for the money.) So wish me luck everyone and try to have as much fun this summer as i know that i will have :) here is a picture of my area.

Vegas!

Last Saturday i got to go spend the day in Vegas. Katie, Lindy, Becky, and I left about 8:30 in the morning and drove down to Vegas. We ate lunch at nIn-n-Out. It was my first time eating there. I really liked it. We then spent the rest of the day walking up and down the strip. we went to many of the different hotels/casinos and the m&m store, the coke store, and planet hollywood.This was the only wedding chapel we saw all day so we took a picture by it.This is Becky Lindy and Kate in front of the Eiffel Tower. This guy wanted a girl in the picture with him at the m&m store. (kind of random, but what ever).
I am not the biggest fan of Vegas, but I still had a lot of fun. My favorite part of Vegas is the Bellagio water shows. The weather that day was perfect and so we sat and relaxed while we waited for the water shows to start. we watched 2 of them. we ate dinner at a buffet and then headed home about 8:30 at night. It was a long day, but it was a ton of fun and well worth it.

back to school

Well, school has started again for me and it has felt like midterms all over again since i got back on tuesday. my teachers decided that it would be a good idea to have tests right after spring break since they all know just how much we study over spring break. I had a criminal justice test yesterday that i think i did really well on. I had to write a 3 page paper yesterday for my marriage and family relations class and i have a math test today. I also have a test next tuesday in my sight singing and ear trainging class. Luckily i only have 4 more weeks of classes once this week is over and then finals week! yay! It's going to be a busy month full of final projects and tests and papers. time to go study for my math test :)

more hiking

This last week has been my spring break. I went up to Orem for a few days and while. Saturday, Me and Melissa and Richard hiked up to the Y. it was snowing and foggy but so fun! on Wednesday i came back down to Cedar and i have been working some. Today Rory and I went hiking in Kolob Canyon. We did a 5 mile hike. It was so beautiful! parts of it felt like we were hiking in Zions and other parts felt like we were hiking in Northern Utah. it was a nice blend of scenery. It was perfect weather for hiking today too. I don't have many pictures from either hike but here are some. enjoy:)

I have been reading this book off and on for probably 4 years now and im only on page 120. From what i remember it is a good book. I really just don't like reading and most books don't keep my attention long enough for me to make it all the way through the book. I would give you a synopsis of what it's about but i haven't made it far enough yet and it's been a long time since I have ready any of it. So if you want to know what it's about go read it for yourself.

Tuesday's hike.

I know i am slow at posting about this little adventure. Tuesday was Rory's birthday and all he wanted to do was to go back to Zions and go hiking again. So Me and Rory and Jake and Alycia went and did the emerald pools hike. its a nice 1 mile hike. we took our time and took a lot of pictures and just had a lot of fun together. When we were up at upper falls we decided that we wanted to go out to a sand bar in the middle of the pool and get our picture taken. so we all jumped out there. When it was time to go back we discovered that it was going to be quite a challenge. I almost fell in, and if i had i would have taken Rory in with me. It was a ton of fun. we didn't get home till 9 at night then we went to a birthday party for Rory and had cake and icecream and then we watched a movie. Alycia and me
